4 Generations and more

First off, can i just say again that I think my Gramma is amazing? What other 87 year old can pull off a sassy sparkly jacket on her way to her 70th high school reunion!?!?!?! yeah... Awesome

Lucy was alllll done taking pictures at this point :)

family fiasco

Well I've resigned myself to the fact that my family does not take family pictures welll....These all look pretty similar but i think it's funny to see them all together. You can see Lane's transformation as I try and tickle him to make him smile, while Macy is inching her way off my lap, and Lucy's poker face.....blah.....i envy families that have beautiful family portaits where even the littlest baby is at least LOOKING at the camera.....*sigh* someday.....

Oh well....I guess it's real, right?? :)

more bubbles!

At my gramma's I had to share the joy of my huge bubble maker with my neices and nephew

Here's Lane and Alia waiting for a bubble
Ashley got the hang of it pretty quick

It's funny because I have a picture of me as a kid that looks pretty much JUST like this :)

Lane was laughing...not crying :) He was trying to wrestle uncle jeff....

Deja Vu

Macy is 8 months old!!!! I never took any 6 months pics so here's some of her 8 month ones.

She would NOT look at me when I put her in the weeds....:)
but she's still pretty cute even if she won't make eye contact

Oh yeah...she's crawling now...

Ok ok.....i KNOW that I used the flowers for Lucy's baby pics too...BUT I don't have any other good props!! :) Sorry Macy..

She didn't seem to mind too much

besides...they're fun to play with :) Every girl loves flowers...right?

Macy's 6 month check up happened at 7 months....I don't remember the exact stats...but she's a big girl in the 70-90th percent for height andweight.

Macy is a sweet little baby. She loves to snuggle, and is starting to babble a ton and sing. She is crawling up a storm, and starting to hold her own in the sibling wrestling matches. She desperately wants to stand, and will pull up on anything she can reach, including legs, chairs, couches, STAIRS (sigh), toys,.....whatever....she loves to eat, is sleeping through the night mostly. She loves her big brother, and sister, and smiles at their antics and "love". We love our little macy and can't wait to see what her little personality keeps turning into!

Finally!

This isn't a road trip post.

We actually had a hot enough day to play at the beach today! YAAY!

Macy's first encounter with the beach....not too bad. She's not a fan of the cold water...and didn't eat TOO much sand. SUCCESS!!
Lucy wasn't a fan of her hat...and stole macy's binky. Other than that, she had a good time :)

Simming beauties

Lane is re-visiting his love of the beach. He was sad that we could not stay longer

darn camera strap :)

Yay for buckets!

snack break. She was pouty cuz I made her rinse her hands off in the water before she could have her fishies :)

Day 1 at the beach: pretty successful. Beach wasn't too nasty, not too much goose poop, no leaches this year: BONUS! However, i definatly need to come up with a better system...better beach bag, toys, and what not. BUT for the first run with all 3 kids by myself, not too bad. We lasted about 2 hours, then the girls were D.O.N.E and ready for their naps. Actually macy didn't wait and fell asleep in the van on the way home.

Until next time, beach!

VEGAS!

Ok don't get too excited....we didn't really go to "VEGAS" ....we were in NORTH las vegas to visit Willy and Katie! It was fun to see them, and meet their little girl, and see their cute cute little house!!! BUT i'm pretty sure my favorite part of the vegas truck was getting a ride in Willy Race Truck (not pictured...) BUT it was pretty fun. However, i'll be honest. I'm not sure anyone can actually LIVE in Vegas becuase it is rediculously hot....and i wasn't even there in july-august!!!

Here's Lucy giving Gracie a horsey ride...

Thanks for the fun visit, will and katie! Can't wait to see you when you move back to washington!!! :) *hint*hint*
