We had TWO really crazy wind storms in about 2.5 weeks. We lost power for a week with the first one. Then had power for 2 days, and lost power for another week! It was pretty crazy, and a good reminder of why we need to be prepared. Here are a few shots of some of the casualties....

Rides
We took Bonnie's family for a 4-wheeler ride back in the state land in the back. It's one of our favorite things to do in the summer. There are SO many trails back there that we still need to discover! But today we went to the stream with the big culvert. We need to name that little stream I think......How about Tunnel Stream. :) Anyways, the kids had a blast riding in the trailer and playing in the creek. We are so blessed to live in such a fun and beautiful place! I can't imagine our life anywhere else!

Fireworks!!
We decided to load everyone up and go see fireworks at Deer Park.....like we do every year :) We played for a while as we waited for it to get dark. I forgot my glow sticks this year!!! So that was kind of sad. BUT we found a mouse to keep us occupied! It was the funniest thing. Someone saw it and started chasing it, and then there was a whole gaggle of little kids chasing this poor mouse across the field. No one ever caught it and Bonnie's little boy was pretty upset because HE was chasing it to take it home as a pet :) But then the fireworks started an all was right with the world again. I LOVE Independence day!!! The fireworks are a perfect way to celebrate our freedom and our country....
Until Next year!!

4th of July Breakfast
Our ward has a 4th of July Breakfast every year! Me and Bonnie decided the night before to make all the little girls 4th of July skirts. They turned out pretty cute... Lucy and Juliet had fun modeling them
Bonnie with all of our kiddos. She wants to have like 12 kids, so this is what her family will look like in a few years :)
Reunited!!!
This is my friend Bonnie! She was my roommate my freshman year at BYU. We had lots of fun and drove each other totally crazy. Well now she lives in AZ and has a billion kids. One day she calls me up and asks if she can come visit. Of course I said, YES! So she loads up her kids...by herself....and drives 3 days to come visit me!!! CRAZY GIRL! We had SOOO much fun catching up and meeting each others' kids, and being sister wives for a few days :) I can't wait until we do it again though it will probably have to be in WA again because I'm pretty sure me and my family would shrivel up and DIE if we tried to go to AZ.....sorry Bon :) Cheers to friends!!
Happy Independence day!!
Me and my friend Rachel made these cute pallet flags for the 4th of July! LOVE them! :) Happy Independence day!
