Well we've created a monster. Last night, we were eating dinner, and Lane would NOT be consoled if he could not get at our food. So I broke down and let him "taste" my pork chop. Notice the death grip he has on the fork. He tried to suck every bit of juice out of the thing and FREAKED out when I finally had to take it away from him. Looks like he's a meat eater.

Millions of peaches......

Soooooooooo I decided to learn to can peaches!!!! some friends and I went and picked them and a fun lady in our ward taught us how to can them! It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be and I ended up with 30 jars!!!! Aren't they pretty!

Lane wasn't so much a fan of his "sleeping bag." He looks like the Christmas story kid, "I can't put my arms down!!!!" This outfit only lasted till the middle of the night when Lane realized that he couldn't roll over in it, then it had to go!

We decided to take lane on his first camping trip. He loved it! Except i've decided that our two man tent just doesn't cut it anymore, we need to expand!!

4 months old and sitting like a pro!!! He still gets a little excited and throws himself backwards sometimes....but all in all he's pretty good at sitting by himself! Lane also loves to have his mouth open....all the time, everyday. IF it's not open, then he is stuffing something IN it. Cutie

This is at the Cheney Rodeo. It's a tradition. The first year we went we started dating, the second year we went: we were married. The third year we went, we had Lane!!! I wonder what next year will bring?!?!

Here are some visitors that we get in our yard sometimes.....the black widow is wrapping up a yummy yellow jacket for dinner, and the bird is a woodpecker....breaking in our new wood shed.

Just thought you would like to know that Lane rolled over this week!!! He's a veritable genious!!!!! :) And he's discovered how to actually giggle sometimes, instead of just sucking air in and making monkey noises!!! cutie.

Happy Independence Day!

We spent the 4th of July out at Gramma Nette's house this year.  It was an eventful day!  Lots of family was there. My friend from BYU, Jessie, came to visit and Scott Palmer came too. We took a little drive up in the mountains by Nette's house.  It was a fun trip except when Baby Lane decided to have a blow out of his diaper and I forgot my diaper bag at Nette's. AHHHHH!!!  Luckily, Scott had some wipes in his truck, but we ended up wrapping him in an old shirt for the trip back down the mountain :)  He's a trooper.  Everyone set off fireworks at the lake, Kyle and Payton were being pretty goofy. Overall, we had a good day!
