6 What?!?!?!

Yeah, Lucy is 6 weeks old already....YIKES!!!!! Here's some cute pics of her....

Lucy is such a sweet baby. She is very tolerant of her big brother that likes to TRY and beat on her sometimes....she's starting to "talk" and make little noises, she has lots of big smiles, and is such a fun little girl! We love you, Lucy!

Tradition Experiment #1

So I've been thinking about traditions and which ones I can adapt for my family.....I thought i'd try out the gingerbread house experiment. The dough was gross, and I burned the front and back....BUT it turned out cute :) Probly something the kids would like when they are a little OLDER....but worth a go at it. We'll probly try this one again.....

Lucy is a pretty happy baby....and she has a GREAT smile!!! I haven't really been able to capture her best ones on camera yet, but here's a preview.....I swear she has been smiling since she was like 2 weeks old, but no one believes me.....but you can't argue that it's still gas now :) She is TOTALLY smiling on her own!

I finally got my stockings done!!!!!!!!! I saw this idea like 10 years ago in one of my mom's magazines, and she gave me the pattern this year, and i FINALLY got them done!!....Things take a little longer than they used to these days for me, but they are done before christmas eve so I can't complain :)

We were taking goofy pictures, and Lane totally came up with this pose on his own.....

Which was pretty funny cuz I remembered a really similar picture from my college days at BYU.....

I think the story was that I found my roommates camera, and it had one more picture on it, so i decided to surprise her with a "hello" sign so she'd see it when she got her film developed :) I was such a thoughtful roommate :)

Let Christmas begin!!!

So I LOVE christmas....I can't help it. I've been wanting to listen to Christmas music since Halloween, and now I can!!! As the day after thanksgiving ritual, we cut our tree and put it up today. I have had this tree picked out in our back yard since summer....so that was easy :) Lane did GREAT helping put up ornaments, it was lots of fun. I will put up the rest of my decorations tomorrow....but i'm realizing that i need MORE to fill up my house which is a shade larger than our little a-frame. :) Darn.......

Lucy Update

Hey everyone, here's the deal. Lucy had to go back to the hospitol with a really high fever thursday evening. We will probably be there for a while, as they cannot figure out what is causing the fever. They have run lots of tests and so far all have been clear, but we are still waiting for some. Right now it could go either way, better or worse. SO please keep her and her sleep deprived parents in your prayers!!!!
