The Hunt

We decided to do our easter egg hunt on saturday.....it was cold but the kids had fun

All in all a fun egg hunt. I think we managed to eat all the eggs in about 2 days, so no need to worry about plastic eggs laying around for weeks!! :) YAY

Eggs!

I am so behind in my blog posts!!! But me and blogger have been in a fight...and we're finally making up...and i've resigned myself to their new format....so here's Easter!! :) and now blogger won't let me NOT underline this.....lame.....

Me, Lane, and Lucy decided to color eggs during Macy's nap....it was an adventure.....i think a 2:1 child to adult ratio is PLENTY for kids 5 and under for egg coloring :)

we used the "magic" crayon to make shapes on the eggs before we colored them.  Lane thought that was pretty neat!

Lucy got into it a little bit, but wasn't nearly as impressed with the whole thing as Lane was

apparently we were too slow to get out plates, and the kids decided to help themselves.  We actually had another cake there, so we just let them go at it :)  Less dishes to wash, right??!

Over all, Lane had a great birthday! Thanks to everyone who came, and  for being such great friends and family!

 What a cutie!! We love our little boy!  Lane is so fun, and growing up so fast!! He is so excited to start kindergarten next year.  He is a great big brother and such a good helper around the house. Lane's 5 yr loves are: super heros, dress ups, outside anything, riding his bike, ice cream, books, motorcycles, snorkeling, swimming, snow, fireman poles, his new fort, ect.....
