general cuteness

Here's some cuteness to brighten your....i mean MY day....:)

 Nothing says complete contentment like this picture!  this little man has found a new joy in life.  REAL FOOD!!!!!  it took him about 2.5 bites to figure out how to eat it, and now he doesn't want to stop.  EVERYTHING we put in our mouth he starts drooling and grabbing at....it's pretty funny....he can't wait to be like his brother and sister's i guess!!

 i didn't think this little boy could get any happier.....all it took was some sweet potatoes!

Sew-fun!

I had a little wild hair last week, and decided i wanted to sew something. My mom sent a box of fabric (yay for purging!!!) and so I wanted to make the girls some dresses.  Macy's was a little different because I ran out of flower fabric, but i think it's cute. :)

 The girls were so cute, when they found out that i was making them dresses they got SO Excited!!! They both wanted to "help"  which turned in to lucy going crazy with pins, scissors and scrap fabric :)

Then before church i got a little jealous and wanted a new skirt.....so i wrapped a piece of fabric around myself, cut it out and added a ruffly, and voila!!!! skirt for me :)

thanks mom!!!  anytime you want to purge your sewing room....i'm more than willing to help! hee hee

Fun with barnwood

Just to brag about my super awesome handy husband for a minute.....He tore down this HUUUUUGE old barn last year, and he's been making fun stuff out of it lately.

my plan is to collect my favorite sayings/quotes and hang them in between to wedges on the bottom board.....just haven't figured out the perfect medium for the quotes....i'm debating on stitcheries, or chalk.......dilemma!!! 

 He made this door as a photo-prop for a local photographer...totally fun

 this is only half of my sweet hutch!!! it's a corner hutch for my family room...there will be a top half with shelves, and he's going to put doors on the bottom.  sooo cool

Flashback

Found some pictures of the St. Patrick's day parade.  We have gone to this in Spokane the last couple years...it's fun and we get lots of candy :) yay! win win!

next year....we're going to dress up

Not too exciting :) my picture taking is getting pretty weak!!  But at least i have proof that we went :)

Easter Sunday

My picture taking patience is TOTALLY diminishing these days :)  I'll attempt pics but we're going to TOTAL candid these days :) here's some quick shots on Easter sunday....before lucy puked on her dress because she refused to eat her sandwich for lunch..:) Live and learn.  Lucy can puke at will.

Super cute story about these two. I was at work and Scott was home with the kids.  Well it was a day of sadness in which 2 out of the 5 people in the house were puking......scott being one.  Well scott took baby luke and put him on our bed, and had to leave him there for a bit.....Lane heard luke crying and decided he would make him a bottle. When scott came back out, lane had made luke a bottle and was trying to feed it to luke! How sweet is that!!!  He didn't want his little brother to be sad......

He actually did pretty good too, only missed the correct amount of formula by 1 scoop :) Cutie..  Sure love these boys :)

easter silliness

I'm just going to say it.....Our family does not believe in the "easter bunny"  my kids know it, and they're fine.....and we all accept that we are totally lame parents  :)

with that said....we still do some silly "easter" things because they are fun, and it's all done on or before saturday so we don't sabotage Easter :)

Funny story about Macy's "face"  I was on the treadmill one day and the girls were zombified in front of a movie.  That's how we "exercise" :)  so i was looking at lucy, and she must have felt me looking at her, and looked at me, and i made that face at lucy.  She just looked at me like I was a freak, gave me a ok-crazy-mama-half -smile and went back to her movie.  So i started to look at Macy, and finally she looked at me and i made that face at Macy....she thought for a second, then made it right back at me....and we laughed and laughed.  Now that is our joke....randomly we'll make "the face" at each other and laugh.....we're easily entertained. :)

 Then we made suckers!  i think this might be my new favorite thing.

Macy wasn't interested in painting her suckers...just eating them :) LUcy made a really cute bunny....but......in my haste to get my pics on my computer I accidently erased her picture........and ALL of my easter egg HUNT pictures...grrrrrrrrrrrr

we also colored eggs....but that's wasn't very exciting...or picture worthy apparently :)
