Broom hockey

We had the Young men/women from church out to the lake for broom hockey!  It is always so fun!  I think the kids had a good time and there were no major injuries! YAY :)  we had a hard time keeping the ice good this year, but it turned out well in the end.  We had hot dogs and hot cocoa, and lots of broken brooms :) Can't wait till next year!

Fossils and faces

Lane wanted to make fossils a little while back.  We happened to have some leftover modeling clay so me and him made some clay stuff....and some hand print fossils.....then we just made lots of silly faces :)

Time Capsules

I like traditions.....I'm still trying to think of new and fun ones to add to our family. This one I started last year, and it was fun to read last year's so we did it again!  I'm sure they will evolve over time, but they are simple for now!  Here's the kiddos making their 2014 time capsule....I really should add a picture of them to it......maybe someday! Until next year.....

New clothes!

Me and my mom had the same idea!  The girls need new clothes!  I made some jammies, and some valentines outfits for the girls, and mom knitted them some adorable sweaters!

Flat Stanley

We had a Flat Stanley come to our house on his world tour :) He got to play in the snow, he went ice skating, he got a camo snow suit, and he went rock climbing....good times had by all! :)  the kids thought he was totally fun and loved showing him around wilderness Lake!
