Born to RIde

In addition to his dirtbike, Lane can now safely ride the 4-wheeler!!! He's growing up so fast!!! Next thing you know it's going to be a car.......ok really a large TRUCK probably :)  Love him!

Metalline Falls

 I got a wild hair the other day and decided to load up the kids and take them to Metaline Falls. It's one of my favorite places around here. We go every summer, sometimes a couple times.  The waterfall is so fun and you can play in the creek, but it's SO COLD!  Pretty much like all the other creeks around here :)  But the kids are brave and they usually go in for a little bit. Then we had a little picnic and called it a day.  I am such a lucky mama to be able to do this with my kiddos!!!

Camping: Take #2

This is more like it!

We finally made it camping! We went up to Powers Lake...one of our go-to spots.  It has a fun, FREEZING creek, and we caught a few huckleberries this time! woo hoo!!  Luke LOVED picking huckleberries. It was awesome, as long as he was plopped down in front of a full bush, he was a happy camper :)  I love spending time out in the woods as a family. It's probably one of my most favorite things! I hope our kids remember these times as they grow old and look back with good memories!
