Basement Progress

Our basement is all hung, mud and taped, and ready for paint!! WOO HOO!!! It is SO FUN to see it finally coming to life after the whole process of drawing to watching it being built and finished. I love it!

Spring is here.....mud bogging anyone!??

House progress

Well we are back at it with the house, and trying to get in it by April 1st!

 We started the T&G in the living room ceiling.  Its SO PRETTY I love it!!!

 Framed in the fireplace.  It's amazing!!!

Grampa Jim

We lost our sweet dear friend, Grampa Jim this month.  We loved him SO so much and will miss him terribly.  Jim was like a Dad to Scott, and we probably would not be here as a family without Jim's influence and love.   He was one of the kindest most loving men I have met, and I feel so blessed to have been included in his family.  Our kids loved Grampa Jim so much and he loved them like his own.  We miss you and love you Jim.  Till we meet again.......

Sledding!

Soooo.  Much.  Snow!!!

The Terry kids were in town so we had them over to sled while the family took time to plan some things.  We had lots of fun sledding, and it was fun for the kids who live in Arizona to actually get to play in some snow!

The snow really is beautiful!  Even if we don't have time to enjoy it this year.....I can't believe we get to live in such a beautiful place!

House updates!

My staining station is in the kitchen. It's working well, and we are busting out this wood like nobody's business!!!  It's going to look amazing!!!

Piercings!

Happy New Year!!!  For Christmas the girls got coupons to get their ears pierced!  They were pretty excited and so brave!  They both did awesome and didn't even cry :)  Now we get to pick out pretty earrings WOO HOO! My sweet girls are growing up!
