Moving day!

We MADE IT!!!! Our goal was to have the basement done by April 1st so we could move in.  and we got carpet this week and are moving in!  The kids are SO Excited to finally be back in our own space. Even though we'll all be sleeping on the floor and living out of a cooler for the foreseeable future...it's OUR floor.....and OUR cooler!  Couldn't be happier!!!

Spring Skiing

Daddy took Lane and Lucy spring skiing one day.  They are turning in to quite the skiiers! Maybe one of these years, we'll be able to get a season pass! :)

Me and Luke were at my second favorite store (Walmart) in the make-up section.  As I was looking for something else I heard Luke very frantically trying to get my attention. When I looked he was holding this pack of fake nails, and said. "MOM!!!  The cut off someone's fingers!??? And you buy them??"   YIKES!!!! To see some things through the eyes of a 4 year old!  Pretty scary! haha  He skeptically accepted my explanation of what they were....but you can tell by the look on his face, that he was not impressed.  :)  

Date night

I love this guy!!!  We have been pulling some late nights lately...(like a year now) haha but it has been fun working together and having some time with just us.  This guy is such a hard worker, and is doing such a beautiful job on our house! I'm one lucky girl!

Parade!

The St. Patty's Day Parade!! We love going to the st patricks parade. I'm not sure why, but It's one of my favorites!  I keep saying every year that we need to go crazy and deck ourselves on in serious Green Wear, but it has yet to happen! haha  OH Well...there's always next year!

The basement is ready for paint!  The kids got to choose their colors for their room, and they mostly got to paint them themselves!  It was fun to watch them work and get excited for their own spaces again!  They picked out some fun colors!

 All I know is that we should get some free Home Depot shirts of something. I swear we are keeping this place in business, and it is my second home.  But LOOK!  Paint and toilets, and bathroom stuff...it's really happening!!!

Fireplace progress!

The fireplace is coming along!!!  I LOVE IT!!!!  I can't wait to have fires in it and just snuggle up on the couch and just watch the fire.  But...gotta keep working to get there!

 Here's the loft. It is coming along nicely. I think it's going to make a great tv room/library!!
