first dirtbike day of the season

We took a break from working on the house Saturday and got the dirtbike out for spring! Everybody did great. Even Eli and Luke got to try riding Macy's bike.  Macy was so brave this year!! she rode around the yard a little then agreed to try going around the lake. She did great!!!
Lane tried riding the 80 and totally fits it !! Me and Scott can't believe we have a kid big enough to ride it!! That is the bike that I learned how to ride on!! Must mean we are getting old :)

This is one of my favorite pictures!  Lane is such a sweet big brother sometimes. And the little boys love him so much! Lane totally looks like a teenager here though and that kind of freaks me out a tiny bit :)

pinewood derby

Lane's derby car this year.  The "rock monster"  It was not a very successful car, and the smiles are pre-racing.  The after racing face was....sad.....BUT there's always next year, Buddy!!!

SO I think this was Joey's first time in a swing. He was NOT impressed.  At all.  His ride lasted all of 10 seconds after this picture  haha

 Eli is quite smitten with the dirtbikes. He is very proficient at climbing up on any and all bikes that are left out and has a pretty amazing dirtbike noise. If you are looking for Eli, this is most likely where you will find him.  Everyday.

Our garage has DOORS!!

 And Miracle of all Miracles! We finished the laundry room really quick so I have MY Washer and dryer in MY HOUSE!!!??? Seriously....I had no idea how happy that would make me.  Eli was equally as intrigued ....I think the last time he saw an actual laundry room was before we moved and he was about 7 months old! 

 And last but not least, the barnwood.  OOOOH the barnwood. We have a love/hate relationship.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it looks, but cleaning it and clearing it.....is.   GROSS.  The stink bug genocide is epic.

birthday fun!

"uncle" Nick had his birthday and the kids were excited to have him over for a party.  We had lots of fun and kids got him some sweet birthday presents...we had pizza and watched Moana :) good times had by all..

we were pretty low key
this year for easter....that happens when you're camping in an unfinished house :) we still did a little egg hunt today but these are the only pics from that! Oh well....some is better than none! I also had some cute dresses for the girls this year and we didn't even get pics of us all dressed up! I guess there's next year :)

hallelujah!!

I could almost die a happy woman! After 3 weeks of feeding my family from a cooler we finally got our fridge last night!! Even the kids were excited this morning when they saw it! Our kids are awesome through all this and really have been pretty flexible with not having a regular house....it's coming together great though so we are excited :)

Sunday walk

Sometimes we like to go for Sunday Walks.  Especially in April because spring fever is rampant in these parts about now.  The first sunshine of spring is SO amazing!!!  It's totally deceiving but we love to bask in it anyways!  Couldn't resist taking some pics of our walk, and the beauty of our lake.  You can even see our new house from across the lake!  Kinda fun!  Sure love this family of mine...
