Catalina day 1

We hiked up to the Wrigley Memorial up the canyon and hiked all around the top ridge of the island. It was so beautiful!  The ocean was so calm, and the sun was out, and it was so nice to just be outside not in the snow!  

 Oh yeah, there's our cruise ship!  It was a little annoying seeing it there ALL DAY!!!! We were glad when it left! 

There is goes.....

Yup, we decided to do a last minute trip for our anniversary. We bought tickets, we bought flights, we made arrangements for all the kids, we were ready to have an amazing cruise vacation. Until we got to the airport. EVERY one of our flights was delayed, or even canceled. Long story short, we got to LA like 5 hours later than we were supposed to. By the time we were able to get down the the pier, we missed the boarding time by about half an hour!!!!  

SOOOO......we got a Uber, got a hotel for the night.  While talking to the Uber driver about what to do in LA he mentioned taking a ferry boat to Catalina Island. That was the first stop on our cruise, so we thought maybe we could catch the boat there. Well we COULD but for an extra 700$ a piece. NOPE!!!! So we had a vacation on Catalina Island. It was Beautiful. We had a blast, and it was soo great just to spend time with the two of us!  **Happy update** the airlines reimbursed us for our cruise tickets, so all is right with the world!

Eli is 4!

I can't believe my Eli is 4!  He is getting so grown up! Eli is such a sweet, sensitive, funny, and goofy kiddo!  He is so much fun to have around and is always making us laugh. His silly side is coming out more and more these days, and it's keeping us on our toes.  We sure love him, happy birthday, ELI!!!

So Much Snow!!

We got so much snow this Feb, it was crazy!  Will came up to visit for Debbie's wedding. They stayed at our place and we had lots of fun playing in the snow.  Little Ben LOVED the snow mobile!  And then we towed the kids behind it on a sled! Good times!

Mt Spokane

Went night skiing at Mt Spokane! My first time there...it was really pretty!  Good day for skiing! :) My little ski bunny Lucy did great too!

Random Feb

We had some friends over one day and made some cotton candy.  We hung out....we Shoveled snow off roofs....it was a random Feb :)

Fire!

Me and Eli built an epic fire the other day,...it was soooooo nice!  I love our fires so much! 

Valentine's Dance

There was a Valentine's Dance at the school, and Lucy and Macy asked Frank to take them. He was so excited! He bought them little corsages, and took them dancing, and they all had a great time! Thanks Grampa Frank! You're the best!!

Nap Time

Well we got some snow.  Joey went to plow with daddy, but couldn't resist the soft, soothing hum of the Backhoe!!!  He was OUT!! haha

 I had to shovel a path to our woodshed, but I thought it looked kind of cool....

Heros

I'm so glad I have these two Super Heroes to protect me from dragons while I fold laundry!  A girl can never be too safe!

Pickles!

So I wake up to pounding on my door, and when I open it, I see THIS guy.  He's holding a jar of pickles and is dancing around singing about pickles. I asked him if he wanted one and he said,.."YEAAAH" like "Duh, mom, why the hek would I bring you a jar of pickles at 7AM if I didn't want one!!"    He cracks me up!
