Here are some baby quilts i've made lately for some friends who are popping out kids :)This is the "pooh" quilt...i just tied it..
this was my first attempt at machine quilting....turned out pretty cute, a learning experience
this one actually turned out ok. I forgot to take a pic of the finished project, it looked really neat when it was quilted.....

Happy #1

Lane loved his crib full of balloons!
Yay for the 4 wheeler! He couldn't quite figure out how to push the button to make it run.
So he decided to just push it with his feet! :)
Then he got mad when we quit pushing the button for him!
He actually wasn't too messy when he ate his cake!

I can't believe my little guy is a year old!!!

Easter

We went to our friend's the Terry's for Easter morning. Lane and his friend Aviendha had fun finding eggs and breaking them open for the candy. Lane was an M&M Fiend........a little too much candy for one day....poor kid...I don't think i've ever changed that many diapers in one day!

Scott's Accomplishments!

This was GOING to be the "rally RV" but instead scott decided to turn it into a work truck. This used to be a functioning RV. Imagine my surprise when I came home last summer to Scott and Will in the backyard. They had tied the RV to a big tree and Scott was driving the RV away and I got there just in time to see all the walls fall off. I missed the part where they tied a rope around the stove that was in there and drove away and it pulled a hole right through the wall. Good times had by all! Long Live Rednecks!!!

Scott and Payton have been busy working on the "rally car" (no this isn't the white car that used to be in our backyard) They've cut mostly everything off of it, and it still runs, YAY! Now all they have to do is put a roll-cage, some seats, and the last tire on before it can make it's debut in the woods accross the street.

PAYTON!!!! Our nephew moved in with us last week. Lane loves his big new toy!! And we like to have him around.

Well, it's happened. Lane is officially walking! His longest distance has been about 6-8 feet, and then he just gets excited and falls over :) I was sitting on the floor by the couch the other day and out of the corner of my eye I saw something coming at me. I look over and Lane was walking from the piano over to me with his arms up in the air like Godzilla or something....it was pretty funny. I'm sure it won't be long until he's full time running! YIKES!
