Rag head

Lane decided about 4-5 months ago that he liked to suck on rags. Mainly he sucks on them to go to sleep, but lately he has taken to sucking on them any time he sees them. His "rags" can be anything from baby washcloths, burpcloths, and if those aren't handy then a plain white onsie works also. Good thing he likes variety!!! We would also like to point out that this last picture, Lane TOTALLY looks like one of Scott's baby pictures. So contrary to popular believe Lane DOES in fact look like Scott too.....at least in pictures :)

More Teeth

Lane has got 8 teeth so far. All the top ones came in like last week. He likes to use these new teeth....especially to bite his parents!!! YIKES this was the best pic i could get of him showing his teeth.

Tractors

Scott had a tractor from a job he's doing, and brought it home to move some rocks. Lane had SO much fun riding in the tractor. The best part was when Scott was loading some rocks in the bucket and Lane discovered the bucket lever, and started moving the bucket on Scott. Good thing he couldn't reach the forward/backward lever :)

Yogurt!

If you look close you can see his two top teeth coming in

Lane is experimenting with self feeding these days. It's pretty entertaining until I get to clean up the aftermath :) He is also quite a ham these days and loves to make faces and be goofy.

BELLY!

I just thought this was funny. Scott forgot to unbutton the back of lane's shirt and he couldn't get it off his head :) He's getting good at "helping" get clothes on and off. He's learned to "put arms in" "step in" his pants, and he's working REALLY hard at putting socks and shoes on, but that's one just makes him mad!

Latest House

notice how small the trucks in front of the house are? Yeah, it was a big house
back view
Here is the last house Scott Built. Crazy. I never knew I married such a talented man :) This house lead other buyers with a 17,000 sq foot home for Scott to build later this year (hopefully) This home was about 10,000 sq feet. Yes, for ONE couple with no children at home.

New Love

Well I should have expected this, but at age 1!??!?! Come on now. Lane has discovered his love of ANYTHING on wheels. It started with his 4 wheeler he got for his birthday. Then it graduated to OUR 4 wheeler. He LOVES IT! he will sit there and laugh and laugh holding on to the handle bars like he is driving. Then it graduated to the dirtbike, and now ANY bike, if he sees something on wheels he is UNCONSOLABLE unless you put him on it and ride him around.....yikes....What is NOT Pictured here is the kicking and screaming tantrum that is thrown when Lane is taken OFF whatever it is he is riding. Not pretty

carol's latest crafts

Here are some baby quilts i've made lately for some friends who are popping out kids :)This is the "pooh" quilt...i just tied it..
this was my first attempt at machine quilting....turned out pretty cute, a learning experience
this one actually turned out ok. I forgot to take a pic of the finished project, it looked really neat when it was quilted.....
Yay for quilting!

Happy #1

Lane loved his crib full of balloons!
Yay for the 4 wheeler! He couldn't quite figure out how to push the button to make it run.
So he decided to just push it with his feet! :)
Then he got mad when we quit pushing the button for him!
He actually wasn't too messy when he ate his cake!
I can't believe my little guy is a year old!!!

Easter

We went to our friend's the Terry's for Easter morning. Lane and his friend Aviendha had fun finding eggs and breaking them open for the candy. Lane was an M&M Fiend........a little too much candy for one day....poor kid...I don't think i've ever changed that many diapers in one day!
