Lucy's 3 yr old pics!
Lucy's Turn!!! Lucy is so funny with pictures lately! Sometimes she loves to smile for the camera, but most of the times she wants nothing to do with it. She TOTALLY got that from Scott! :) If I DO get her to smile, then usually she does not look AT the camera....funny girl. I did get some cute shots though and I'm sure I can find one worthy of the "family picture wall" :) I especially like the silly "cheese" grins :)
love the cheeze grin
are those goldfish in your teeth!?!? :) Yum
Could you get any cuter!??
yes....
this is face she makes when she asks for something "pretty please!!!"
My cute girls!!
I just love these two!! I hope that they will stay close!
2 year pics
I tried to take some 2 year old pics of Macy the other day :) My photography skills are a little rusty. Especially with sleep deprived brain!! But these will do for this year....besides, you can't get a "bad" pic of this face!! Cutie :)
She saw Lucy take some pics with her hands on her face and wanted to give it a try :)
What a happy face!
The other two wanted in on the action :) Too bad baby luke is too small to hop up on the bench with them!!
3 years old!!
Our little Lucy turned 3 this past week!! I'm so glad that I had got a couple presents and wrapped them BEFORE baby Luke came, or else her birthday would have been pretty sad! :)
We had a reeeeeally low-key "party", good thing she is so young and hopefully won't remember how lame her party was :) We'll do better next year I promise, Lucy!!
Our big girl!! I can't believe she is 3 already. Time has really snuck up on me this year...
She wanted to do presents first, so we did... She got a cooties game...
A new princess puzzle!! yaay
Macy helped her put the puzzle together. Lane also got her a sweet Glowy-wand...not sure where that picture is! :)
Our sweet neighbor, Gramma Barb, called and said she would like to make Lucy's birthday cake. She probably realized the futile attempt I would make at slapping a cake together 2 days after we brought baby Luke home, and took pity on Lucy. She made her this cute little bunny cake!
Yay for Grammas!!!
Lucy thought her cake was so fun...
Making a wish...
blowing out the candle! YAY
And of course, licking the frosting off the candle.....the best part
Then Gramma Debbie and Emmy came, and brought the winning present.....a "Tangled" dress and lots of "pretties"!!! Her face might not show it in this picture, but she was thrilled! :)
Lucy apparently has inherited her daddy's "LOVE" of picture taking.....:) She refused to look at the camera all night....but she was too busy putting on all her necklaces and rings...
"UGH, alright mom, take a picture" is what she's saying here! :)
Lucy is getting so big and independent lately. She is a GREAT Little helper, and loves to help me cook, make hot cocoa, do the dishes, and laundry. She loves to play with her brothers and sister. She loves to read stories, and watch movies, and tell people stories....She has a sweet little spirit and we love her so much!! Happy Birthday Lucy!!

Home
Here's some shots of our first few days home!
Luke is such a little sweetie!!! He's pretty mellow so far, and just watches what's going on. Soaking in all the lessons on being a crazy kid from his older siblings :) He looks a TON like Lane as a baby! He's getting his nights and days mixed up which is NOT so sweet :) But we're working on that. Overall, it has been good couple of days, and we're trying really hard not to let anyone get sick! Tomorrow is our first outing, Luke has his first check up, so wish us luck! Don't worry it's just me and Luke going :) Our sweet neighbor is watching the girls for me.....Phew!! :)
He's HERE!!!!
We are THRILLED To announce and welcome baby

ADORABLE!
Here's the story:
So I was pretty set on letting baby Luke make his appearance in his own time.....Until....November 9th. My birthday. Which happened to be the date of my "last" OB appointment. That morning I decided it was time, and planned my usual "let's get induced" trick at the dr's. So I packed my bag, and the kids overnight bags, dropped the kids off and headed to the dr. All went well with the plan, and they did a stress test and decided it was time for baby Luke to get kicked out of the hot tub. Called the hospital and they were "full up" and couldn't do an optional inducement. DRATS! But they said come back that night and they would get me in for a "slow" inducement so baby would come saturday morning. OK we said.....went in Friday night and...
TA-DA! baby came at 9:37 AM. To spare you all the labor and birth story, let's just say that I will NOT Be doing a "slow" inducement ever again..it's all or nothing.....and let's work on the epidurals Holy Family hospital, deal?? Deal.....
Here's the crew. That's Dr Hardy.....he's great for putting up with me :) I'm surprised he has not fired me as a patient yet. He did say however,...."I hope Scott knows what he's in for....." why? "Cuz he married a woman that definitely gets what she wants...." haha...he said that after I convinced him to go ahead and send me to get induced......all I could say was that he knew what he was getting before we got married :)
Daddy and baby Luke after a feeding. Daddy is a great baby burper
Gramma Nette came to visit!
Then the kiddos came!! It was SO Fun to see their reactions when they came to the hospital! This captures lucy's overall reaction to baby Luke: "oh my"
She loves to look at him, and is always concerned about where he is, but isn't all that interested in holding him or doing anything WITH him.....it's cute!
Then there's big brother Lane. Lane is awesome!!! he LOVES his little brother, and is just can't wait until he's old enough to "play"! The night we brought him home Lane said, "ok, let's teach him how to walk!" :)
This smile sums up Lane's response to baby Luke. LOVE! Lane likes to hold him and feed him. He also like to make up lullaby's to sing to him before he goes to bed...it's awesome. I love when his tender side comes out......such a sweet-heart!
And little Macy...who is not so little anymore next to her little brother! Macy is in love with baby Luke. She loves to "pet" him and look at him and hold him....
I'm going to have to watch her that she doesn't adopt him as one of her many baby dolls!
Gramma Deb brought the kiddos to us. Thanks Debbie for all you did (and do) to help during baby Luke's weekend!!! You guys are AWESOME!!
Chillin' in the hospital crib
Proud daddy! A side note: here's the story of daddy's beard. Scott's beard seems to draw alot of attention for some reason. EVERY. YEAR. It's not like it's a new thing, so i'm not sure why it surprises so many people every year. Anyways, he's been getting alot of comments about his beard at church, and he had a great answer this year. "I have to grow out my beard this year, we're having a baby!" To which people look at him like he's crazy and he explains, "This way I'll look more familiar, and the baby will like me more because I'll look like Heavenly Father.....HE has a beard!" hahahaha......
I just realized I didn't get any pics of me holding Luke at the hospital :) Darn! We'll have to fix that this week......I love my little guy! We're so happy that he's finally here!
