Bittersweet!

We took the kids to say "goodbye!"  to our house one last time!  It was actually not as sad as I was expecting.  So many memories and love in this house. Scott built it from the ground up and I filled it up with kiddos :)  I am so grateful for all our blessings we've had so far, and really am excited about this new change!!  The kids are unsure, but I think mostly curious about what the hek we are doing!  They are troopers and really good sports so far. Hopefully they will have some fun memories of this time :)

After we said goodbye, we went ice skating!  The lake froze over solid early this year before snow! yippee! I love these years!

Gramma's House

Scott's mom has been SO gracious, and has let us move in with her until we can go stay at our property in the spring!  SO we have totally invaded her house, and she is a wonderful trooper!  All the kids are staying in one bedroom and Scott and I are in the other bedroom!  It's a little tight but it's great, and we are grateful for her!  Here are some random's from our first couple weeks here

New Home

So HERE It is!!!! The reason for all this crazy going on!  Back in August, we bought this piece of property from our neighbor, Jim.   When we decided to sell our house and look for property, we looked outside the lake, trying to see if there was anywhere a little closer to town that would suit us.  We looked at a few properties, but never found anything we loved.  Then one day we were looking around at the lake and decided to walk up the hill and check out this lot. Well we made it up the hill and stood and looked at the view and how beautiful the property on the top of the hill was and we were hooked!  So we bought this back in August, and will build our new home here!  SO EXCITING!!!  Take a look!  We decided to come up here while the weather is still ok and do a little burning and clearing just for fun!
