Laundry room progress

Laundry room is coming along!  Barnwood trim, handrail on the stairs and of course it is doubling as our dining room for a time... :)

Eli.  This kid cracks me up. He is becoming such a ham, and I love it!  He decided that his eating chair is clearly no match for him, and I saw him walking around in it before dinner one night! haha....

 And again with the dirtbiking obsession.  Here he is ready to go and begging me for a ride!!! How can you say no to that face, c'mon!

Kitchen floors and finishing!!!

Me and Scott tackled the tile on the main floor!  It only took a couple nights to lay. Then a couple more nights to grout!  It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. I love how it turned out :)

Field trip!

I got to go with Macy on her field trip. Her class went to the junior livestock auction and show! It was fun, and the kids were adorable!  The 4-h kids and the FFA kids... It's official! I NEED my kids to raise and show animals! I LOVE IT

Weekend Projects

It's been a little slow working on the house this month, but the last two weeks we got a little push when our cabinets were installed!  This is this weekend's projects.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE how everything is turning out! I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to leave this house

 I seriously love this hutch. It is just what I had envisioned in my head.  I am so impressed with Scott,...one of his many talents is that you can wave your hands around in the air describing what you want and he makes it happen!  LOVE IT!

Recital

Piano recital last night!  They both were nervous but you wouldn't have guessed it by watching. They performed great, and tried their best! So proud of these two!  And their amazing teacher, sister Hansen, she is the BEST!

 We need to work on our "smile" faces, apparently! haha

Hair!

I was going to trim the girls' hair tonight, and I jokingly said to Macy, "want me to just cut it up to your shoulders??" and she said,..."YEAH!"  I tried to back pedal, and give her an out and she just said,..."Mom it's just hair, it will grow back!"  And she was SET! Well I got done cutting Macy's and then Lucy saw and wanted hers done too!  So I cut off ALL my babies' hair tonight, for the first time EVER having them with short hair!  I think it was harder for me than them!  But I think they look so grown up, and still adorable :)
