It's ON!

Well, Mother Nature was NOT even kidding this past week....

ready or not.....here's winter!

We woke up one night to this huge THUMP and couldn't figure out what it was....

Then we finally realized it was the snow sliding off the roof!

I think we ended up with around a foot or so at our house. Which is really funny because my friends accross the highway said they only got 4-5 inches!

Lane is beside himself with excitement for the snow activities. We've been sledding, made a snow man, got out the skis, and rolled in the snow....

Lucy is not so sure about this stuff...she really wants to play in it, but it's a little harder than it looks!!

and here's poor Macy....begging me to take her outside.....:) eventually sweetie....mama's gotta work up to that!!

Lucy's Party!

Well Lucy is officially two!! :) What a fun little girl she is. Lucy reminds me of a little Sprite running and hopping around. She's very excitable and generally a happy little girl. She loves to give hugs, and loves stories, and music. She's talking up a storm these days, and makes us laugh.

Hello Snowmobiles!!

Twins

Saturday was the last day that I have "twins" :) For 24 days of the year I will have twins every year....that's kind of fun! So I decided to make it a tradition to take "twin" pictures every year! Next year I will actually try to make them look nice, and maybe have the girls match (for as long as they tolerate it! hee hee) But this year was totally impromptu and I think they are pretty darn cute!!

I know these pictures all probably look the same to the untrained eye, but I couldn't pick my favorite!!! i have about 20 more than look just like this :)

It's so crazy to see how grown up Lucy has gotten this past year. Last year she looked just like Macy, a little chubby baby. Now she's turned into a little girl!!! It will be fun to see Macy grow up this next year too!

I just love these too!!! Lucy is such a little mama these days :) This is the same hug and loving look she gives to all her baby dolls now :) Macy is like a great big live baby doll to Lucy

These pictures made me realize i have another Scott look a like though. We couldn't decide who Macy looked like, but this pictures seals the deal. I coule put up a baby picture of scott side by side to both Macy AND Lucy, and you couldn't tell them apart! Lucy just has blonde hair! :)

CUTIES!!

Felt Fun

So i've been trying to think of ways to make our toy room more fun....and this is my latest idea!! I made a felt "board" to hang on the wall! So far, *I* have had the most fun with it...lane is second, and the the girls just like to peel everything OFF the felt board. Me and lane have been playing with letters alot, and he can almost pick out his name letters....i think he probably knows them but just likes to tease me.....

Now i just need more ideas on felt shapes, themes, and how the heck to STORE them?? right now, i think all the letters are currently spread out accross the FLOOR of the toy room.....not so productive :)

Miss Macy is walking!!! Full time.....well mostly...
She'd been working on it for a looooooooooooong time, and made it before 13 months! GOOD JOB baby girl!

She can also bend down and pick stuff up, carry things while walking, and stand up by herself in the middle of the floor!!!

she's getting so grown up! :)
