huckleberries!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE huckleberries!!!  

I was determined to get some this year since the last couple years have been a bust!  We took the kids up to Ione, WA and picked our little hearts out for a couple hours. The kids did great for the most part....but really, how could you NOT love running around a mountain all day!?? :)

Awesomeness

Last summer Lane mastered my kayak. He is a natural and picked it up fairly quickly! he's a very coordinated little soul. :)

I love summer! I love having everyone home...i love being able to do nothing, or play, or whatever we want! it is glorious :)   Here's to enjoying the last month of freedom before new fall adventures start!

daddy camp!

Our church's "daddy daughter" camp was a couple weekends ago!  The girls were SUPER excited to go to "daddy camp" and could not wait ALLLL day.  

I took this picture before they left...it's all fuzzy because one of the children had it before me and got the lens all gooey and i didn't have time to notice! hah

And THESE are the only two pictures that came back from daddy camp :)  good effort.....

They did have a blast! Me and the boys came up the next morning, and we went on a hike, we went swimming, then we picked some huckleberries! Awesome weekend in the mountains :)

skirts!

These are some of my girl friends from church.  We made these skirts and they turned out SO cute!!!  I made a pattern from another skirt and it actually turned out!!! I was pretty excited. SO we all wore them to church one Sunday to show off our mad skills :)

I'm really bad at taking pictures while we are at the beach because i am either A. swimming  B.holding a baby C. swimming AND holding a baby  or D. eating.

BUT i did manage to take some pics at proof of what we do with 90% of our summers :)

There you have it.....everyone accounted for as proof that we are all there.....minus pic of mama cuz...well.....NObody needs to see mama in a swimsuit :) haha
