Happy Halloween!

Here's this years Festivities!

This second picture is his new "cheese" face!!!! It's helarious...whenever he sees the camera pointed at him, this is his smile.....this one actually is a really good one...usually he squints his eyes really tight and opens his mouth :)

Then we have "Ghostie Macy"  She was very good at saying "boooooooo" to people :)

And then we had "Optimus Prime Lane"  

First we went trick or treating at our neighbors Frank and Barb.....they are so cute...they make the kids halloween bags every year! we are so lucky!! It pays to be the only kids (almost) in the neighborhood :)

 We ended up going to Deer Park to trick or treat, and we ran into the Palmers.....Candy's face cracks me up!  

Good times!! the kids lasted about 45 mins trick or treating.....the candy was gone in about 1.5 days....:) See ya next year!

Homework and such

Lane got a 100% on his first spelling test (and nearly all of them since this one:))!!! I'm so proud of this little 1st grader! He has grown SO much these past year and a half of school!  He's a smart little kiddo and is learning to work hard at school!  We have been so happy with his teachers and the whole school experience so far!  I love that he is learning and growing and working to become his own little person!  SO  fun to see and so fun to be able to work with him, and work with his teachers!  I've been volunteering in his class-room and it has been a blast!!!  There are so many fun little kids in his grade, it is fun to get to know them all, and the teachers!  The girls are also having fun doing their "homework" these days :)

Nothing says little boy better than a little boy catching and holding a snake!! :)  Lane is getting a big braver with those sorts of things and he wanted a picture to remember his snake......pretty cool, buddy!!

Party for 3!!!!

Macy's birthday was on Sunday this year, so she had a WHOLE day of partying....we had a little party with balloons in nursery, then some family came over for dinner and more party!  Poor Macy wasn't really feeling all that well by the time we had dinner and party, so she just wanted to lay on the couch and open presents!  But Lucy and Lane were big helpers and helped her unwrap the presents....they picked out their own presents for macy this year, and it was so cute!  Macy said she wanted a "sparkly" party this year, and that she wanted a beautiful sparkly gray puppy for her present!  Well Lane picked out a doll with a sparkly dress for her, lucy picked out some coloring books/markers and we got her a couple sparkly puppies. They were all a hit!  She had a sparkly star cake and all was right with the world.  Happy birthday May May!!!! We Love yoU!!!!
