Excavation

Today we officially started excavation of the house!! :)  WOO HOO!!!!!  The kids had a pretty good time watching daddy, and riding with daddy in the excavator!  We have it for a week, but we.....well Scott, has his work cut out for him!!!

 Made some good progress....then we hit THIS rock!!!

 Look at that thing!!  We expected some boulders digging this basement but the pile we've ended up with so far is totally nuts!!!  We should try and sell them I think!  But at least we'll have some sweet landscaping rocks!

 Got dark on me, but here's the basement so far!

Ta-Da!!!   oh wait.....another big rock on the corner!!! Rats!  We'll see if we can move it tomorrow or just shift the house back since that one is bigger than the first!  YIKES

Watermelons and firetrucks

I got to help out at field day!  They put me at the snack table where they happened to be serving watermelon.  I wore my favorite preggo shirt so it was PERFECT! I think I freaked out the majority of the elementary students but it was totally worth it!  haha

Preschool Grad!!

Well our little Macy is officially off to kindergarden!!  She is all done with preschool and ready for big school!  She is growing up so fast! We love you Macy!

More Property Progress

Another  weekend another project!  Here, we are getting ready for the power to be brought in. There were a couple trees in the way and one that needed to come down that was too close to the meter and the garage. The kids had fun playing on the tree before we cut it up and took it to the burn pile...

 Lucy found a nice mud puddle...

 This little guy is such a trooper!  He is mostly content to play on the ground with sticks.....he is being the best baby through all this craziness! I'm so thankful for this sweet disposition!  I think I have a picture of Scott about Eli's age doing the exact same thing :)
