Eli is THREE!!!????

I'm not really sure who's idea it was to let Eli turn THREE!??  But here we are.  It's official. He's THREE and I guess it's time to potty train him! hahah.......well....soon......BUT First we party!  We had a pretty simple celebration for little guy today.  Just us, and some cupcakes (per Eli's request)  But he proudly proclaimed "IT's MY BIRTHDAY!"  About 1397 time today, so I think we're good.  Eli is such a fun little guy. He's talking a ton now, and is the snuggle-iest kid ever.  He makes us smile and we love him so much!  Happy Birthday Eli!!!

New Car

Well we got a new car!  It's a diesel and it's huge, so hopefully it will work out well for us!

This just makes me laugh.  The backhoe gets the garage, and the poor truck is left out in the cold.  HAha

Well actually it proves that the squeaky wheel gets the grease....or the new transmission in this case.  Hopefully we'll get the backhoe up and running again soon!  We need a plow!

I chopped my hair off again....HA!  my girls keep asking my why my hair is so short. Boredom is a dangerous thing :)

Cotton Candy

Luke had some friends over, and we decided to try out the cotton candy maker he got for Christmas!  It was a big hit!

CARPET!!!!

So......we......got.......CARPET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  There's nothing else to say, really.  It's amazing, and weird, and overwhelming all at the same time.  I walk around and don't quite know what to do with myself because our house is 99% done!!!  I love love love it, and it's SOOO nice to walk around and not worry about getting splinters, or dust, or whatever else on your feet because there is glorious carpet! :)  My pictures aren't the greatest because it was at night, and I was too excited to pay attention to my camera, but here's a sneak peak at our finished house!!!

This is pretty much the little boys' permanent position now....they LOVE having carpet, and are so thrilled to be able to run everywhere now without the dangers of construction! :)  They have been troopers, for sure :)

Hopefully as we unpack and set up rooms I can get some real "after" photos and do a good photo tour of the house, but right now I am just relishing in being "done"   :)
