Crazy x2

I decided we needed some new "sister" pictures....the girls weren't really feeling it.....but they're still pretty cute :)

These two are so funny....and crazy.....I'm pretty sure they had some deal in the pre-existance to see who could drive us the craziest. They're pretty tied at the moment :) They do have their moments when they are so loving to each other that it makes my heart melt, so I guess that makes up for the rest! :) they are really fun and make us laugh all the time....We love you girls!

Legos

Gramma Nette gave us a big box of Scott's old legos about 2 years ago. Lane has recently re-discovered them and has turned into a little building machine!!! He's mostly into building planes right now. We'll see if it turns into more elaborate creations...we have some pretty intense lego-builders in our family, so I wouldn't be surprised if Lane keeps it up! It's so fun to see what he comes up with! All of these are Lane-originals. No pictures, ideas, or helps from us!

Me and scott celebrated our 6th anniversary on March 4!

1 yr-ish, in Salt Lake

2 yr-ish

3 yr-ish (i was pregnant with Lucy)

4th year. This was actually on our anniversary. we decided to go for a big dirt bike ride for our anniversary, it was fun!! This was also the morning I found out that I was pregnant with Macy :)

5th year!

6th year!! We haven't really changed all that much huh :)

This year, I surprised scott with a weekend at Silver Mountain for skiing and indoor waterpark fun! I'll admit, i was a little terrified of the skiing part, because the last time I went it was NOT pretty! But I did a LOT better this time. Scott proved again why I love him while we were on the mountain! We ran into a run that was NOT groomed, and really deep powder. I could NOT turn in it to save my everlasting soul, and face plowed enough times, that i was DONE. I took off my skis and proceeded to walk down the rest of the hill. Scott was so patient (he is an EXPERT Skiier) and convinced and helped me put my skis back on and we finally made it out alive and I headed straight for the lodge to rest. I tried to talk him into just going and doing a few runs without me so he could have some fun, but he wouldn't do it, and finally convinced me to try again. I did, and we had a lot of fun the rest of the day (going on safe green runs :)) He's so sweet and patient and helps me to do better. Thanks, scott! It's been a fun 6 years! Hopefully we'll have many more to come...

My Hero

I love this boy...

The other day, we were in town. We had gone to the YMCA and I needed to go to walmart to buy some stuff for mutual that night. Macy was NOT Having a good day, and in the 2 minutes from the YMCA to walmart, she TOTALLY passed out-dead-asleep. I picked her out of her car-seat and she was still asleep, not having any part of waking up. So i put lucy in the cart, and was carrying floppy macy in my arms. So i asked lane if he wanted a job. He was such a sweet boy, and pushed lucy in the cart ALLLLLL the way thru walmart, without running into me, or any other shopper in walmart! He was so nice to lucy and made her happy the whole time. Macy totally slept the ENTIRE time, including checkout, and lane helped unload the cart....He was totally the hero of the day!

Swim Party!

We're all getting a little cabin fever around these parts, and the kids wanted to have a swim party in mama's tub. How can you say no to that??? :)

Lane is obsessed with snorkling lately. He used his piggy bank money to buy an actual snorkle, mask, and flippers. It has been great...in the bathtub. Today was the first maiden voyage at the YMCA with the snorkle....it was....a little rough. BUT he promised he wanted to try again on thursday. He's such an independant little guy, which I LOVE. But i wish he would just let me HELP him sometimes...but he wants to figure it out on his own....so.....i'm anticipating more sucked- water- into- the- lungs- tears on thursday....wish me luck!

Snowman

Our "cousin" Emmy came over for a sleep over, and she and Lane built a sweet snow man! I gave them squirt bottles to "paint" him...it was a big hit!

Cuties! I love these girls! they sure are fun....most of the time :)

I'm not sure if i can classify this as a "hug"....but that's what we're going with.....If you could see macy's expression, you could probably argue this is an act of war....but at least lucy looks happy :)

winter again

I know i post pictures of the snow every year, but i just think it's so pretty! I can't help it!

I love the views around our porch!!! This winter has been so weird! every time we get good snow, it rains and rains....so we haven't really gotten to play in it very much...but we have used the snow mobiles and gone sledding a couple times, so i'm good. Bring on spring :)

Frostbite

In January, my friend Amber convinced me to run the Deer Park Frostbite 5k race! I agreed...scott said if i was going to PAY to run around Deer park, i'd better run to WIN!!! :) We gave it a go....but no winning here. Apparently there's some folks in deer park that take running seriously.....weird.... :) We finished in 38 minutes.....not too bad for a non-runner! (ME)

My friend bribed me into wearing these rediculous outfits.....

Ok, I lied.....:) it was allllll me!!! I said...if we're going to run in deer park in the middle of january, then we'd better dress the part!! So luckily, my dear husband had not only one, but TWO pairs of red long-underwear-with-the-butt-flap! OH HAPPY DAY!!! I thought we were pretty helarious. My friend was completely mortified, but DID agree to wear them, so i really have no pity :) I've already come up with next year's outfit....all i am going to say is....time to bust out the old coconut bras!!! YES!
