Just for fun

Just for fun i put together the three kids when they first started sitting up...which happens to be almost exactly the same time 4.5 months. It's fun to see them all next to each other to see their different little faces.

She can sit up for a few minutes before she falls over...

now if we could just get her to sleep through the night!!! :)

4 months

Macy turned 4 months old last month... I finally got around to posting some pics of her, even tho she's almost 5 months :)

macy is quite the smiley one these days. She smiles readily at anyone and everyone especially her big brother Lane. Lane could roll all over her and she would still smile at him like he's the greatest thing


She has rolled from her tummy to her back a handful of times but is not all that excited about it :) She loves to be around people and loves to be held

Macy hasn't had her 4 month check up yet becuase she's been sick, but i'm guessing she's around 13-14 lbs. She's wearing 6 month-ish clothes. She can sit up by herself just in the past few days! She also loves to talk, and has the funniest little growl/coo-ing noise. She's also starting to get ticklish, which I LOVE :)

Lucy LOVES macy so much. Every time she sees her she runs over and gives her hugs and kisses. It is the cutest thing ever and macy tolerates it well :)

We love our little Macy, and can't wait to see her little personality start to come out more and more as she gets older!

5 years!

We had our 5 year anniversary on Friday March 4th!

5 years....on one hand it seems like forever, and on the other hand it seems like we got married yesterday!

Either way you look it it, it's great though. I couldn't have found a better guy for me than Scott.

We have had such an eventful and FUN beginning. Here's a recap of the past 5 years....

Got married, bought a house, fixed up said house, had Lane, Started a business, bought some property, built a house, rented out other house, had Lucy, blinked, had Macy....

And here we are :)

I am so thankful that I found someone I can laugh with, cry with, be myself around, trust, and love. I'm thankful that we were able to be sealed and have a forever family!

Here's to the next 5 years, and to all the new adventures that i'm sure we're in for!

Crafting

Lane's been into crafting lately. He got a sweet little bucket o' supplies from my mom and loves to make things with it! (i have no idea where he got THAT from! :) )

It's fun to see his little creative mind going....he's got his daddy's mad building skills too!

i thought this pic was cute becuase it kind of shows Lucy's new favorite thing: "Kisses" she'll come and give macy kisses every time she sees her...its the cutes thing ever

Family Fun

Here are the fruits of Scott's street bike sale :)

We ended up getting two sleds. The blue one is scott's. it's almost identical to his old one that got "lost" in the woods in Montana. The black one is mine and is lots tamer than scott's :)

I took Lucy. I think Lucy likes riding the most out of anyone :) She was running around the house when we asked if she wanted to go outside, she got SO excited and was laughing and running around gathering her snow clothes.....so cute!

we went for a ride on the state land behind our house. I was really surprised how much has melted already! Next season i'll have to take pics of the snowy trees when we're riding...it's sooo pretty back in the woods after a big snow. Today was really pretty becuase it was foggy around the mountains, and in the tree lines...it looked like a really pretty painting...

True to form, one of our kids fell asleep on the ride. I had to turn her around so she could lean on me on the way home...it's tough steering a snow mobile one handed :) we've now had kids fall asleep riding snow mobiles, dirtbikes and 4 wheelers!! I guess it's better than being scared of them. I guess i should expect them to be comfy on machines....i mean....they've been riding them since they were in utero, soo......

here's macy all ready to go for her first ride! She rode in the front pack on scott and fell right asleep...didn't cry once! we sure have fun easy going babies! Couldn't ask for anything more!

When one door closes....

Scott sold his street bike last night. This is kind of a big thing for him. He is sad, but ok at the same time. Scott loves motorcycles.....and this is not to say that he will never have another street bike. I'm sure that he will. BUT he sold the one he's had since he was 18, so it was a little sad. BUT when one door closes another opens right?? He got enough money from his bike to buy some different more family friendly toys :) Some new Snow Mobiles!!!! We'll post some pics when we get them.

Fun with Daddy

I've been working alot lately and the kids have gotten a lot of Daddy time, which they LOVE! Last week I came from from work to this:

This is the sweet new tent we got for Christmas! It's HUGE. We are so excited to use it this summer!!! It took up that whole room which about 12 x 16-ish.....and we have 9 foot ceilings...so you can image home big this thing is!! it's got two rooms so we can lock the kids in their room for the night :)

We never did sleep in it becuase Lane kept forgetting to remind us at night :) And i took it down yesterday, it's actually really easy to set up/take down. Lane and I took it down in about 15 mins!

SO Cherringtons, I hope you see this and get your sleeping bags ready....there's enough room for everyone in this thing, NO EXCUSES :)

3 Months

Macy turned 3 months last week! YAY! She's getting SOO big it's kind of crazy. She is quickly catching up to Lucy. Pretty soon they're going to be able to share clothes!! :)

That is Lucy's new "camera face" it's pretty awesome cheesy smile :) She is SUCH a ham....but it's funny because no one sees it but us, becuase she is pretty shy out in public!

My beautiful little Macy. She's a fun baby, and getting really smiley, and does NOT like to be alone. She'll be hanging out and happy, and if you leave the room it's instant tears, and if she sees you come back in the room she stops. You'd think with all the craziness around here and kids running around she'd LIKE a little peace and quiet :) Nope

I was helping Lane clean himself up, and we've been working on HIM doing the work....

mom: WOW, Lane, you're an awesome bum wiper!

Lane: THANKS Mom, You're an awesome bum wiper too!!

Carol vs. Moose

Friday night coming home from work, I met a moose.

I saw the moose on the side of the highway and it started running. I slammed on my breaks, and it was running along side me for a minute.

Then it turned and tried to cross the road.

Luckily by that point i had slowed down enough that I didn't hit it all that hard. The airbags didn't go off, and although the moose rolled up onto my hood, it didn't touch the windshield

It rolled off the driver's side of the hood and into the road, the police had to come and kill it becuase it was hurt too bad. It was pretty scary, but I am REEEEEEEEEEEEEALLY lucky. Most people that hit moose either total their car, or die, or both! My Van is pretty much the best thing EVER, too. It is a tank. The frame didn't even get damaged, just the hood, bumper, light and grille.

I drove home even! Now i have to drive to work again tomorrow, and i'm a little freaked out. WISH ME LUCK!

Winter Wonderland

This is what I wake up to every morning--the views from my bedroom windows :)

We've had a lot of snow the past couple of weeks. Right now the trees are all still covered with snow becuase it got really cold after it snowed. When the sun shines, it is SO Beautiful!! I am so lucky to live in such a gorgeous place!!
